Cappadocia Private Tour (1 Day)
The “Highlights” of Cappadocia (1 Day Private)
“All the Icons in One Day”
If you have limited time but want to see the “postcard” views of Cappadocia without the stress of a large group, this is your best option. We combine the most famous spots with our local shortcuts to avoid the peak crowds.
Suggested Itinerary (Fully Customizable):
09:30 – Pick up: We meet you at your hotel.
Uçhisar Castle: The highest peak. We start with a panoramic view to explain the geography of the region.
Göreme Open Air Museum (or Zelve): We guide you through the painted rock churches, explaining the frescoes in detail.
Avanos Pottery Art: Watch a master at work and try the wheel yourself.
Lunch: A private table at a tested local restaurant (Testi Kebab or other local dishes).
Devrent & Paşabağ Valleys: See the camel-shaped rock and the fairy chimneys with multiple “heads.”
Love Valley Panorama: The perfect spot for a closing photo.
Why choose this? It covers 80% of what Cappadocia is famous for, but at your own rhythm.
What’s Included
Private Transportation: A comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle (Mercedes Vito or Sprinter) exclusively for your group.
Professional Guide: A licensed, English-speaking local guide who stays with you all day.
Door-to-Door Service: Pick-up and drop-off directly from your hotel.
All Logistics: Fuel, parking fees, and road tolls are covered.
What’s Excluded
Museum Entrance Fees: We exclude tickets so you have the freedom to skip any site you aren’t interested in. You only pay for what you actually visit.
Lunch: Instead of a fixed tourist menu, we give you the flexibility to choose a restaurant that fits your taste and budget (your guide will offer great recommendations!).
Personal Expenses: Souvenirs or personal shopping.
Tips: Gratuities for the guide and driver (optional but appreciated).
2 pax price : 280 €
The “In-Depth” Cappadocia (2 Days Private)
“Culture, History & Hidden Gems (No Long Drives)”
This package is designed for travelers who want to go deeper than the standard tourist trail. On Day 1, we cover the essentials. On Day 2, instead of driving far away to Ihlara Canyon, we focus on the South & East parts of Cappadocia—exploring underground mysteries, Greek history, and art.
Day 1: The Fairy Chimneys & Valleys
(Similar to the Red Tour but customized)
Morning: Meet the surreal landscapes at Devrent and Paşabağ valleys before the crowds arrive.
Mid-Day: Visit Avanos for pottery and lunch by the Red River.
Afternoon: Explore the Göreme Open Air Museum.
Sunset: We finish the day at a panoramic viewpoint (Esentepe or Red Valley) with a Turkish tea/coffee.
Day 2: The Underground & The “Old Life”
(Focus: Mystery, Architecture & Local Life)
Kaymaklı or Mazı Underground City: We descend into the earth to explore the kitchens, storerooms, and tunnels of these ancient shelters.
Mustafapaşa (Sinasos): A journey to the recent past. We walk through this old Greek village, admiring the stone mansions and the intricate architecture left behind in 1924.
Sobesos Ancient City: We visit the only Roman excavation site in Cappadocia to see unique floor mosaics.
Soğanlı Valley: A peaceful, open valley filled with rock-cut churches. Unlike other valleys, here you can buy the famous handmade “Soğanlı Dolls” directly from the village women.
Return: A shorter drive back to your hotel, leaving you energized for your evening plans.
Why we suggest this route for Day 2? Standard 2-day tours often take you to Ihlara Valley, which involves a lot of driving. This route keeps you closer to the center but shows you a completely different side of Cappadocia: Roman History, Greek Architecture, and Village Life.
What’s Included
Private Transportation: A comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle (Mercedes Vito or Sprinter) exclusively for your group.

All Logistics: Fuel, parking fees, and road tolls are covered.

The Red Tour (North Cappadocia)
“The Essentials & The Hidden Paths”
If you have only one day in Cappadocia, this is the region to explore. It covers the most iconic landscapes and the center of the region’s history. However, as locals, we know that sometimes the most famous spots get too crowded. That’s why we offer flexibility.
Why we love this tour: It’s visual and historical. You get the best photos here.
Highlights:
Göreme Open Air Museum OR Zelve Open Air Museum:
Standard Choice (Göreme): Famous for its well-preserved 10th-century church frescoes. A must-see for art history lovers.
The Local Alternative (Zelve): If you prefer a quieter experience with more hiking and climbing, we can visit Zelve instead. It was an inhabited village until the 1950s. It feels like a ghost town carved into three valleys—less crowded, more adventurous. Let us know your preference!
Paşabağ (Monks Valley): Home to the most striking, mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys.
Devrent (Imagination) Valley: No churches here, just rock formations that look like animals. Let your imagination run wild.
Avanos Pottery Workshop: A tradition from the Hittites (2000 BC). You won’t just watch; you can try the kick-wheel yourself.
Uçhisar Castle (Panorama): The highest point in central Cappadocia. The view is unmatched.
Included: Hotel pickup/drop-off, Licensed Guide, Lunch, Entrance Fees. Duration: 09:30 – 16:30 (Approx.) Note: Please specify if you prefer Zelve over Göreme when booking; otherwise, the standard route includes Göreme OAM.
1 pax price : 80 €
The Green Tour (South Cappadocia)
“The Adventure & Underground”
This tour requires a bit more driving and walking, but it takes you to the most mysterious parts of Cappadocia. If you are curious about how people lived under the ground and love hiking in nature, choose this one.
Why we love this tour: The contrast. You go deep into history in the morning and walk through a lush green nature canyon in the afternoon.
Highlights:
The Underground Experience (Flexible Routing): Unlike standard tours that stick to a rigid plan, we choose the best underground city for you based on the season and crowd density. We will visit one of the following architectural marvels:
Derinkuyu or Kaymaklı: The most famous and deepest cities. Massive, complex, and iconic.
Mazı Underground City: A hidden gem. If the main sites are too crowded, we escape here for a raw, authentic experience with almost no other tourists.
Kayaşehir (Nevşehir Hillside Settlement): The newly discovered “city of rock” located in the center of Nevşehir. It is a massive slope settlement that changes everything we know about Cappadocia’s history. (We usually decide the best route on the day of the tour to ensure your comfort, but let us know if you have a specific request.)
Ihlara Valley: A 3-4 km peaceful walk along the Melendiz River inside a deep canyon. It’s the greenest spot in the region and home to rock-cut churches hidden in the cliffs.
Selime Monastery: The biggest rock-cut cathedral in Cappadocia. It looks like a set from a sci-fi movie (often compared to Star Wars landscapes).
Pigeon Valley: A quick stop to see the ancient pigeon houses carved into the cliffs and feed the birds.
Included: Hotel pickup/drop-off, Licensed Guide, Lunch (usually by the river in Ihlara), Entrance Fees. Duration: 09:30 – 17:30 (Approx.)
1 pax price : 90 €
The Blue Tour (Soğanlı Valley Exploration)
“The Undiscovered Path: Silence, Mosaics & Village Life”
If you have already done the main highlights or simply prefer to stay away from the crowds, the Blue Tour is our personal favorite. This route takes you to the heart of authentic village life, untouched nature, and layers of history that most tourists miss.
Why we love this tour: It feels like traveling back in time. You won’t see hundreds of buses here. Instead, you’ll see local women making traditional dolls, ancient Roman mosaics, and Greek stone mansions.
Highlights:
Mustafapaşa (Sinasos): Once home to a wealthy Greek population until the 1924 population exchange. We will walk through streets lined with ornate stone mansions and visit the Church of Constantine and Helena. It’s an open-air museum of architecture and nostalgia.
Keşlik Monastery: A hidden gem often skipped by big agencies. It requires a massive iron key to enter (which the local keeper will bring). Inside, you’ll find blackened frescoes and a refectory that shows how monks lived in isolation.
Sobesos Ancient City: Cappadocia isn’t just about caves. Here, we discover the Roman past. We will see the excavation site featuring a Roman bathhouse and unique floor mosaics that were only discovered recently by accident!
Soğanlı Valley: The highlight of the day. A peaceful valley with rock-cut churches featuring unique “dome” architecture (different from Göreme).
Local Experience: We will hike through the valley and meet the local village women famous for their handmade “Soğanlı Dolls”. Buying a doll here directly supports the local community.
Kaymaklı Underground City (Optional/If not visited): Note: If you haven’t seen an underground city yet, we can include this stop on the way back.
Included: Hotel pickup/drop-off, Licensed Guide, Authentic Village Lunch (usually in a garden setting in Soğanlı), Entrance Fees. Duration: 09:30 – 17:00 (Approx.)
1 pax price : 90 €
